About Eric ~ the Healing Samurai
Eric Huffman trained extensively in Tokyo, Japan with master foot reflexology sensei, Ando Haruki. Ando Haruki sensei is well known in Japan nad SE Asia for creating his original foot reflexology health modality.
A great opportunity, Eric was honored as Ando sensei’s first apprentice. For 10 months, Eric intimately trained everyday with Ando sensei at his clinic and attended his school every Sunday.
Upon graduating from Ando sensei’s school, Eric received the highest honor of the white robe called a hakama, seldom given to a westerner. This is considered to be a great honor and is a symbol of mastering a skill.
Now Eric offers private D H Reflexology sessions at his new office in the River North neighborhood in Chicago. Eric offers a variety of classes on reflexology, meditation, yoga, qi gong, and breathing workshops.
Eric offers lectures, workshops, and retreats through out the mid-west. Every year he leads a week long healing retreat in Maui, Hawaii.
Eric has been featured on Luxury Spa Finder Magazine, Daily Candy, UR Chicago, and Metromix's CLTV cable station.
In honor of my great teachers of meditation and personal development who have helped me along the way, I wish to share with you who they are.
Bob Raymer:
From 1996 to 2000, Eric lived and studied with Bob Raymer (Master of Kriya Yoga) at Song of the Morning Yoga Retreat Center. Eric served as the music director, yoga instructor, and assistant meditation advisor; leading group and individual meditation classes.
Peter Ragnar:
Between 1997 to 2001, Eric was blessed to frequently visit and intimately study with Peter Ragnar on such topics as meditation, health, prosperity, and magnetic qi gong. In 2007, Eric was one of the few selected to be an Ambassador of Roaring Lion Publishing and host Peter's Chicago Prosperity ESP Event.
H.H. Gayuna Cealo:
In 2002, Eric met H.H. Gayuna Cealo who introduced him to Ando Haruki Sensei. Eric traveled with Cealo for months at a time receiving personal training in meditation, healing, and Direct Action (Cealo's Way of Charity).
Additional training:
University: Graduated on the Dean's list achieving a B.S. in Communications at Eastern Michigan University.
Yoga Training: Eric is a certified hatha yoga instructor through GLTYA yoga certification (www.goldenlotusyogateachersassocioation.com), a meditation advisor,and ordained minister.
Charity:
Bringing food, clothing, education, and medical supplies to children in need... Eric Huffman proudly supports the charitable works of the Foundation for Global Harmony-USA. FGH-USA is an NPO which helps children in third world countries. A percentage of all proceeds go to support the charitable work in Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Myanmar.
